My name is James Ddamba, I am a musician, sound designer, and a video specialist in all aspects of video production with a focus in shooting and editing video. I have in-depth experience in shooting and post-production workflow. I will be graduating at London Metropolitan University in Sound For Media. I have experience with different softwares such as:  Logic Pro,  Adobe Audition, Premier Pro, Final Cut Pro, Compressor. I live in Greenwich (London). 

 

    Brief History

Outside my education i have been involved in music with a group (First Love) of five (5) young men from Uganda committed to impacting communities of peoples of diverse ethnic backgrounds with the positive and wholesome message through their music, skills and lifestyles. The group toured East, Central and Southern Africa where they held successful concerts. This crossover appeal led them to move to the UK in 2002, where they worked with organisations like the Haringey Peace Alliance, an initiative countering Drug abuse and Gun crime in London’s North Borough of Haringey, Tottenham, PMU Inter-life and SIDA (Swedish International Development Aid), in Sweden. In the United States they had the privilege of holding concerts in churches, schools, universities, US federal prisons, and at the United Nations in New York.
First Love had the privilege of being finalists on Channel 4’s Gospel Singers of the Year Awards 2002.
